Frequently Asked Questions
It arrived vacuum-packed and looks flat. Did I get the wrong thing?
Nope — that is how it ships to keep postage down. Shake it out, ten minutes in a low dryer, and it fluffs right back up.
Does it shed?
A little fluff comes off at first — normal for a plush pile. Give it a shake, and after the first cold wash it settles right down.
Is it actually warm, or just decorative?
Genuinely warm for its weight. The pile traps heat, so it works as an extra layer on the bed in winter and a light throw the rest of the year.
Is it machine washable?
Yes — cold water, gentle cycle, tumble dry low or air-dry. Do not iron or bleach it; both flatten the pile for good.
Does it leave lint on clothes and furniture?
After the first wash or two, shedding stops — the pile settles. Until then, a quick shake outside does the trick.
