Frequently Asked Questions
Can it sit on my patio or deck?
On stone, brick, or gravel, yes as-is. On a wooden deck, use a heat pad underneath and keep clear space above. The feet also sit level so it does not wobble while lit.
Can I really cook on it?
Yes — the grill grate takes burgers, skewers, and campfire classics, and the heat is even across the grate. Wood-fired flavor is the bonus over a gas grill.
How smoky is it?
Properly seasoned wood burns with modest smoke, and the airflow design keeps it moving up and away rather than into your face. Green or damp wood is the smoky variable, not the pit.
How do I clean out the ash?
Once fully cool, lift out the ash pan or tip the bowl — a one-minute job with the right timing. The finish wipes down with the hose when it needs it.
Will it rust?
The steel is treated for outdoor fire duty, and a cover between uses makes it last for years. A light oil rub on the exterior each season keeps it looking sharp.
